About This Site

The purpose of SpamSuite.com is very simple. This site is here to track those lawsuits related to unsolicited bulk email, or "spam" which have some chance of producing significant case law or are otherwise interesting to the site owner.

A long time ago, spammers would threaten people with filing "lawsuites" (sic) for reporting them for spamming. From that famous misspelling comes the domain name for this site.

All documents on this site should be public records taken directly from court files, usually the US Federal Courts' PACER System.

Over time, we may evolve in other directions, such as providing a private forum for attorneys to talk with each other or a locater service for people to find spam-savvy attorneys. But, for today, all that we're doing is cataloging documents and giving the proprietor a place to comment.

All copyright interests in the legal filings contained in the site are expressly disclaimed. We didn't write them, we're merely cataloging them.

Documents, opinions, and comments provided on any Spamsuite.com page are for general information purposes only and are not intended to substitute for informed professional legal advice. In other words, no matter how great you think it sounds, pay for an hour or two of your own attorney's time before trying anything you read about here at home. Caveat lector -- Let the reader beware.

COMMENT POLICIES
We love your comments, but Spamsuite.com expressly disclaims liability for any opinion expressed in comments. Spamsuite.com does not endorse any article comment. While anonymous and first time comments are being moderated, we are only refusing to post comment spam, so some comments may be obnoxious and your feelings might get hurt.

Just so everyone knows, all server logs related to the site are destroyed by an automated system after every hour when site statistics are aggregated. So, no we do not know who posted something that you may feel is terrible, and we have no way of discovering this information.
