Mickey Chandler's SpamSuite

Some of you may have noticed that Spamsuite was down over the weekend. That was a case of an upgrade gone bad. After doing a complete restoration from backup, I think that we're back up again and things are (more or less) back to normal.

What we did was upgrade the site's software from Drupal 5.x to Drupal 6.x, along with appropriate modules. As we did that, we changed the site's search engine to one a Google custom search that also integrates a few other sites, including my blog Spamtacular.

It also appears that the Feedburner RSS feed I had going for the site was dead due to changes at Google (who owns Feedburner). Appropriate changes were made to update that account, and it is live again (so feel free to watch the RSS feed for site updates. You'll also notice a new email subscription option in the right column so that site updates will come to you by email.

There are also some new options allowing people access to material to put on their own websites.

I thank you for your support, especially those of you who so generously donated to the site over the past weekend. Knowing that people find the site useful enough to hit a tip jar every now and again is part of what makes all of this worthwhile.
